Travellers, explorers, musicians, wanderlusters, curious cats, painters, photographers, writers: we travel (physically and imaginatively) because we have to, because we want to, because we hear a call, because we’re running away, because we’re building worlds, because we want to understand ourselves, others, nature. We've all seen the bumper sticker: all who wander are not lost. I agree, but with a small caveat: all who wander are seeking something.
Women / Wander re-examines the hero’s journey, the great adventure, through the lens of the feminine. It’s the purview of humans to wander; Women / Wander highlights some of the oft-overlooked stories of women who set out on the road, in the air, through the wild pages of our minds.
I'm probably curating this site because I'm still asking questions, ever curious about my tribe. May we always be on that particular journey.
